The waterproof protector controls the dust mites. They probably don't like the wetting much either but the wet patches would be a little too intermittent and localised to pose a serious threat to the population - the mites probably have life boats :-)
No unintended sleep wetting from her - this is something we do only occasionally. I'm pretty certain that neither she (nor me) would really want to take it to a 100% thing although I *have* noticed her inhibitions gradually eroding through habituation to being wet.
