Hi Mary, your bedwetting sounds very similar to mine as I am basicly lazy when it comes to getting up. I wet my bed as a child just about every night and my mother used to make me sleep in several pairs of pants and lay on a towel in a vain attempt to keep the bed dry. It never worked, my bed was always damp and smelly and some times soaking wet. It never really bothered me even on nights when the bed had been left unchanged from the night before. My mother thought if I had to get in a cold wet bed I would think twice about wetting it again and make an effort to become dry at night. This made things worse as I would deliberately wet the bed to warm it up. As I grew older I found I could stay dry and woke when I needed to pee. As I usually slept in my pants and with a pad or towel under me I just used to wet my bed and drift back off to sleep. As I grew older I had dry periods and then I would regress in to bed wetting for a while some times deliberate weeting and some times in my sleep and some times both. This is prety much how I am today. I could just about stay dry most of the time if I wanted to but usually I wet my bed through lazines and the fact I always sleep better as I did as a child. My bed is heavily stained through frequent wettings.
