...not directly, anyway. I think it's wearing diapers that makes one start to like diapers. Diapers are soft and comfortable and hug your body, and for guys the soft padding makes contact with a large erogenous area...what's not to like? The deterrent is social, not internal - diapers are associated with babies. Most people who are capable of consistently using toilets wouldn't even think to wear diapers, because it's considered babyish. However, if for some reason a person overcomes that inhibition and does wear diapers past babyhood, whether it's to manage bedwetting or an incontinence problem, or the person is just curious and decides to give diapers a try, I think many people discover that they like wearing diapers.

So, bedwetting led you to wear diapers, and wearing diapers made you like them, but you'd probably have liked diapers just as much even if you weren't a bedwetter but tried them just for the hell of it - it's just that if you weren't a bedwetter, you'd have been a lot less likely to get the idea into your head to wear diapers.

Personally, I was toilet trained before I turned 2, the last time I wet my pants acidentally was when I was 2 1/2, and I don't remember ever wetting the bed except one accident when I was six. I tried diapers because I was curious to see what it feels like to wear them, and I discovered that it feels great!
