No, I started wetting my bed about 4 years ago (maybe going on 5). I can only WISH that my hubby would do that, but I fear there is no hope - and we do have mattress protection.
Incidently, it does not have to be noisy. There is a waterproof mattress cover you can buy. I expect that this is what most hotels put on their bed. They are well covered (cotton, absorbent, etc), and nylon so there is no noise, nor discomfort.
Of course, I add a hospital pad and a couple of towels to my side... he seldom even gets any wetness at all...
