Hi Jess,

Unfortunately I do not have enough time to hang out here much, but I visited the wet_fiction site (the URL you posted downthread), and I was very impressed -- I assume you wrote the story about Jessica? Very nice writing, good character development, very realistic dialogue and realistic reactions from all the characters. You obviously put a lot of thought into the story.

To answer your post here, I know where you're coming from. I am in the same boat, I wouldn't want my spouse to find out and although becoming an out-of-control bedwetter part-time is a tempting fantasy, it would be very inconvenient most of the time. I have tried to wet the bed while asleep but have never succeeded, at least not deliberately -- there have been a couple of occasions as an adult that I have awakened wet, but they were a few years ago and at the time I was mortified.

Once I had taken a very long bicycle ride -- about 70 miles -- and came home and drank some beers and smoked some joints. Woke up the next morning having totally pissed the bed. The other occasions were similar.

My attempts to do it deliberately went as follows: put down some hospital incontinence pads under my mattress pad and sheets but above the mattress itself. Put some cheap blankets on the bed so as not to wet the down comforter. Drank several beers and lots of water -- had a wetting accident from holding on that evening. Took two Ambien and passed out, hoping to wake up wet. But instead I have a vague recollection of stumbling to the toilet in the middle of the night and peeing, having forgotten all about my quest, and I woke up dry. Oh well. I don't know what it would take, maybe another long bike ride too.

I prefer the incontinence pads because I can't feel or hear them under the mattress pad. I have tried dry cleaning bags and lastic sheets, but they crinkle so much that I can't sleep.

I have to run, but I hope we hear much more from you here!

Best.
