While of course the only way metrics have ever been adopted anywhere is through governments prohibiting the use of systems people preferred.I HOPE the USA proves free enough to avoid this.
I am not of the school of reader or writer that welcomes the reader visualizing what the writer did not intend...I may look at the story anyway,for at least a while...
