Yhe bed had the udual pad(non-water proof)under the sheets abd a white plastic cover over the matress. It was actually quite confortble to wet in, because the pad absorbed the urine and it didn't tend to puddle under me like it does on my bed at home with just the waterproof cover under the sheets, I'm going to get one of those pads for use at home.
