Bed wetters were and still are made to wear nappies in my family so attitudes were and are that you wet you are a big baby and need nappies and a rubber sheet on your bed to save both extra washing and a ruined bed no one ever tried to hide the fact apart from the bed wetter so the whole town would know you were a bed wetter nappies were hung out to dry and get the sun as were your plastic or rubber pants and sheets to kill off any bugs not washed away no life as a bed wetter in our family never got any kind of real help and my youngest nephew still is not help`t that much as a bed wetter apart from he wears disposables and not terry nappies like us older ones so bed wetting not only runs in our family but how to deal with it too.
