I don't see why they choose to do that after all. My mom and dad Kept things quiet when it came to my bedwetting and diapers. I rememebr once when I had them on and was watching TV before bed a neighbor came to the house to talk to mom and she saw me in them but said nothing some of my cousins also wore them to bed as bedwetting runs in the family so there was no real problem there. My rubber pants usually hung in the shower until dry and were put away.
if I stayed home from school with a bug and was staying in bed mom kept me in diapers day and night because if I fell asleep there was a good chance I would wet.
Also when my sister got spanked for teasing me I remember mom went a got a diaper and rubber pants and put them in the drawer with her underwear so she got a reminder what would happen whenever she opened the drawer.
