My Daddy makes me take naps.... we do not live together yet but when I am visiting at his house I am put down for a nap every afternoon. At first I wasn't sure if I would get upset because I had to stop playing... I also didn't like the idea of being separated from Daddy and by myself for an hour or so. I can honestly say it is quite effective in making me feel little. I usually fuss a little while Daddy is changing me into a dry diaper for naptime..I whimpered quietly ... but mostly I knew nothing will change the fact that I am being put down for a nap. I surrendered to that fact, and I truly enjoyed the comfort and security of a nap in my crib. Daddy gives me a juice ba ba and even puts an ice cube in it. I found it to be a very serene break in a busy little girls day. Oh and it is such a happy feeling for me when I see Daddy's smiling face when he comes in to get me. :-)
