You aren't. And neither is Splat. :)
Like most of you on this board, I read posts about various kinks, many of which are unique and foreign to me, like Splat's.
And I realize its sometimes hard to know if that person is opening up or trying to get a rise out of the reader, but when the poster is genuine, I really appreciate the sentiment behind it. I think it takes a lot of guts to share when you suspect others won't accept you -- or will maintain their silence, which is another form of non-acceptance.
And I know its often our first impulse to react to those fetishes and fantasies that seem foreign to us with replies like, "weird," "gross," and "ewwwwww," but I think if we can somehow resist that urge, then we might instead invite that fetishist into our midsts and make a new friend with who has something unique to share.
