I agree with you, for me wearing 14/7 wouldn't work, nor would being a baby 24/7. But I guess everyone chooses to practise this fetish to a different extent.
To most people who do not have a diaper/AB/LG fetish the thought of wearing diapers and/or playing baby at all would seem weird, ridiculous, disgusting and extreme. People who choose to be babied/in diapers 24/7 seem strange to you, but your choice to wear sometimes seems strange to people who don't ever choose to wear diapers.
When it comes down to it what people do is their business, so long as it isn't affecting anyone else negatively. If a person chooses to wear diapers 24/7 then that is their choice, and whilst it may pose some difficulties for them in certain situations, I'm sure it can also be convenient at times.
If somebody chooses to be a baby 24/7, and finds someone who wants to be their caregiver 24/7 too then that is good for them. Whilst to you it seems odd that they want to fully disregard their adult life, to people not into this fetish it seems odd that you want to disregard it even for a few hours a day/week. As I said we all practise it to a different extent, so as long as it isn't affecting people's mental, physical or social health in a way that they see as negative I don't think it matters whether we choose to be diapered 24/7, or if we choose never to be diapered at all. Each of us indulge in this fetish in a different way, and bring different aspects, extremes and amounts of it into our adult lives, and each of us choose a different balance of adult/baby(LG) time.
