I think physical attraction is very important...as it is in any relationship. But apart from that one of the main things a Daddy needs to be is the kind of person his LG can confide in and look up to. He should always have his LG's best interests at heart...even if that sometimes means telling her things that are uncomfortable.
It's been said many times that a Daddy needs to see potential in his LG...even when she does not see that in herself. I firmly believe in this. Personally, my LG lives a long way from me and has some very difficult personal circumstances to deal with. She's a fair bit younger than me too (there's a 19 yr age gap)....but i that she can overcome her problems cos i know what a resourceful person she is. And i try to tell her this as often as possible.
