I hear ya, Restless. The beauty of the internet is that you have the opportunity to meet people whom you probably would not have ever had a way of meeting otherwise.

The downside is that they can live really far away, and they don't have to tell you where they live if they don't want to. They could even lie.

It is not an indication what someone feels they are in their heart, or wishes they were. If a guy has had the operation to become a girl, that doesn't mean he is a girl.

I also love profiles where a guy label himself as a DL Girl or an AB Girl. No pictures on the profile, just that label. Now, they do have the decency to explain that they are male-gone-female, but they still appear in a member search for a DL Girl or an AB Girl.

What I can't seem to figure out is why they would do it. Why would they pretend to be something other than who they are? Aside from the possibility that they are bored and just want someone to chat online with, it makes no sense to me.

Not only do guys get irritated by it, but so do actual girls. I've spoken with a few who say that one of the most annoying things they get asked, aside from the obvious diaper questions, is "Are you a real girl"?

It never ceases to stiffle the mind.
