.. I should have said something more confrontational/controversial/acrimonious... it seems only such things have garnered responses. I would wager that tendency (that is, to nitpick, squabble, and bash those who aren't in the "we're a couple, so we'll hold you singletons and your unmet needs in contempt" set.
