What you are experiencing has nothing to do with ab/dl or anything of the sort. It's a relationship issue.
You've found a man who has now come to feel comfortable with your relationship. It is what it is. You can coax, lead or so even come right out and let him know exactly what you require. If he's willing to put in the effort, than so be it. But it doesn't sound as though this is the case.
You either move on, or make it work. Life is a lot shorter than you'd think, and I have to believe there are so many wonderful Men out there that would fit and be willing to do what it takes to make you smile.
