If you love your job, you don't have to give it up :) It's a way to unwind at the end of the day - It should not make a difference! As long as you like it, it does not matter what anyone else says.
As for different jobs... I work with animals. So I work on a farm, rescue centres etc as my job. I guess it's not normal for a girl to work outside in the mud! My Daddy still loves me for who I am (even if I end up coming home covered in hay or smelling of goat!) Good luck to you, don't give up what you enjoy :)
