I agree wholeheartedly with the vanilla dating thing. Surely though if I just met and started dating you and announced that I was kinked, you'd mercilessly harangue me until you found out what the kink was?
I'd be inclined to wait until I knew the person better and felt completely comfortable and at ease, and then you're always worrying about how they will react if they inadvertently stumble across the truth - or if you work up the courage to talk to them about it.
At least this way, I know this side of it isn't going to be an issue, and I can concentrate on finding someone loving and genuine that I can relate to on an adult level, but is wiling to have some fun with this too. I just keep thinking "Surely there must be someone out there I can connect with that would like to baby me too!" (God it would be so utterly wonderful!)
