No one's getting frustrated, its just a purely practical basic thing and useful to know if someone is in the USA, UK, Australia , Europe wherever , its not at all unreasonable to be curious about that.
Obviously there are ab girls looking, and Daddys looking, and I would be surprised if either didnt think it was important to know how old someone is and at least which part of the world they live in.
