I think the Idea of me insisting on such an early bedtime, is it acts as somekind of proving ground. As I said we are both new to this and it's not only me who needs to be trained to be an AB, he needs to also train to be a daddy.
We're only young anyway (he's 20 i'm 23) so we spend alot of time together during the day. so in the evenings I need me time and he needs daddy time. He also has to learn to be stricter (I already get away with so much) and that way I'm opening a door for him so to speak.
I know what i'll be doing, if he wants to spend more time with me in the evening and keeps me awake, or gets me out of bed I know for sure i'll be so cranky the next day hehe.
For me, why an early bedtime is important is because as much as I'll hate it, I need to feel as if he knows whats best and I am just a little girl to him, and I need to think that too, if that makes sense :)
