I am similar in age to you, and I have never had a problem finding younger woman. Bethan was 22 years younger than me and we had a relationship lasting several years. Since splitting up with Bethan I have met 4 woman all younger than me - the biggest age gap being 26 years. From my experience, being older helps if you're a daddy.
I do agree that you need more than the fetish for a relationship to last, and there can be problems with having different interests at different life stages, but my advice would be to look for a women in her mid to late 30s who already has kids or is not interested in having them.
So don't give up. In fact, you have a much better chance of meeting a younger woman than one your own age, as woman your age into diapers just don't seem to be around, or at least don't put their hand up too often.
