Youtube do not allow any peeing content as it violates there T&C's as it's deemed adult content.

Think this was also to do with a few years back of clips appearing on there shot from phones of underage girls wetting themselves in McDonalds - don't quote me on this, was only something i heard.

Not to preach, but this is why one needs to download videos immediately upon noticing something special.

There's nothing wrong with youtube.

They are a private entity and they have every right to insist on a set of standards for the content they allow. They are, after all, legally accountable for what's on there.

There are adult channels like xtube all over the web now...youtube has every right to fashion itself a family-friendly site...and its users should respect the FREE service they are being offered and honor YT's posting rules.

And anyway...shouldn't there be SOME places on the web wher eyou would feel safe letting your child browse - confident that they won't be getting exposed to porn or brutal violence?

Nice theory - but there are TONS of pee vids on youtube, and others are removed within hours after they have been uploaded. This inconsistence is hard to understand. They put off many uploaders who show peeing, but leave other pee vids even for years [which could be found by them most easily!].

I would certainly not feel safe letting my child browse on youtube.

Summarizing, youtube's policy does not make sense. It simply annoys people.

They are actually not legally responsible for what their user's upload. In most regards (including copyright and 'obscene' material), there's a 'safe harbor' provision in the law. It allows sites to avoid being held responsible for unlawful content if they promise to remove it on demand. The only person legally responsible for uploaded content is the uploader themselves.

If websites could be held legally responsible for their user's uploads, Youtube, Facebook, Flickr, etc, couldn't exist - more data is uploaded to those sites every second than can possibly be reliably policed for every potential legal problem.
