Last year at this time I was on a canal boat and we came up with a hire cruiser at the bottom end of a flight of locks. The hirers were evidently worried about tackling these, so i suggested that we put the boats abreast and go up together. The hire, a retired gent, was agreeable, but said that his wife was terrified of water. "No problem" I said, "tell her to stay inside until we are through the locks". However she stayed outside on the foredeck and we went into the chamber, drawing up at the far end, by where the water that lifts a boat upwards comes in. There was a certain amount of water gushing through leaks, but nothing dangerous, however I heard a groan from the lady, who was in her mid-sixties I would say, and she clapped her hand to the seat of her jeans, which began to bulge, and went bright red. Almost immediately my suspicions were confirmed by a tremendous smell of shit. She had presumably been so scared that she filled her pants. She rushed below and reappeared about half an hour later wearing slacks. I presume she either threw out her panties or else washed them out, but sadly I never discovered the aftermath.
