i think that a lot of people have tried it in their youth. think freud and you'll have a good idea of what i mean.
how many kids have fished around in the bowl after they take a crap? how many kids intentionally pooped their pants because it was soothing or felt good? how many kids continued to ask for diapers past toilet training because it was convenient and somehow felt more 'right'?
at some point 'most' people grow out of that. why? pure social conditioning. at some point we are taught to be ashamed of our bodily movements, to keep things like that secret and taboo. for a lot of folks its that sense of 'being naughty' that fuels their fetish.
i started with wetting too. it felt so good and never did any harm to me or anybody else. i realized 'hey, if this feels darn good and there are no downsides (other than wet clothes), maybe there's other fun things we can do!' I used to feel slightly grossed out when i came across pictures with wetting AND messing. then i realized it was kind of hot. then through a period of growth realized that i could actually try it.
