I think the fetish might lose some steam overall, and become diluted a little as we get older, wiser and more experienced. For some of us anyway. I expect that this fetish will exist in me in some form or another for the rest of my life, but I certainly go through phases where I feel as you have described. Seduction is replaced by perplexing. Beauty with absurdity. Perhaps sickness with sanity ;)
