Although there were initially no moderators to keep out the idiot spammers and flamers the Daily Dump community rallied. Four different moderators were appointed from the ranks of the community and they all worked in shifts. The problem was that the flamers and flooders were determined to ruin the board and this is what happened. The dump was a wonderful place before it was invaded by those idiots. Do you still remember the names of all of the posters there? I do. It was a great group of people.
