I would feel mortified. I probably would attempt to stop.. I have attempted to stop before, but it is difficult, obviously.
Some people in my life definitely know about what I do. Sometimes I don't care and think 'to hell with you if you're going to judge me.' At other times I feel deeply ashamed of myself and wish I was different, or at least wish that nobody knew (like it was in the old days).
Please read my post above "Questionnaire". Your post prompted me to write it. I think you may find it interesting.
