I am guessing you guys are not with it all, so I'll see if I can fill you in.
Many years ago, there were tight restrictions on what could be aired on television. Any reference to sex was out! Even pregnancy was avoided.
Over the years, things have relaxed a LOT. These days, references to gas are not so uncommon, which I find amazing. Some (more adult shows for sure) even make references to pooping pants, and they say it. There is no way to count how many kids watch these shows. But you will find references and sounds, and yes, even the word fart, on kids shows. Even Disney ......
What is this world of television coming to? What will be next? Watching as the gas 'poofs' out their pants when they let the fart happen? Watching as 'rhea runs down the back of someone's bare legs? Watching as a bulge forms in the back of someone's pants during a fart contest? And then as the rest of those in the contest join in? Or Oh my!!
