I think a lot of it probably stems from some degree of homophobia. I personally could care less if a man decides to post as a woman. Who are we to judge, lol. Honestly, there are several men who write great stories from the perspective of a woman, but then there are those who would read such stories, get a good fapping in, and then find out the story they just jerked off to was written by a man, and think "Oh shit, does that make me gay? No, I'm not gay, so I'll just get angry and whine about it instead."
