You know what? If I were you, I'd buy the uniforms at a surplus store--that way you don't get screwed for damaging gov't property. I'm a civilian but I'm on th side of the rank-and-file. It could happen to a lot of scumbag officers-especially in light of those Dod directives. If I were an em, I wouldn't cause it (you to shit your pants) but if you were like the aforementioned scumbag officers, I wouldn't help you. If you were OK, then it'd be another matter. But it proves what I said earlier--officers are no better than enlisted men (or women).
