the weight loss pills she is refering to are called xenical. what they do is cause the body to rid its self of excess fat. my wife was taking them for a while and i must say they do work. the thing is if you eat more than 40 grams of fat or oil(eg deep fried fish&chips) than be prepaired to squirt like a duck. it only takes about half an hour and then if ya cant find a tiolet then be prepaired for a big mess cause theirs no stoping it. which i mite add the wife had plenty of before she learnt not to eat so much fat in her diet.the end result was she lost about 20 kilos in about 6 months which realy boosted her self esteem.
