Having been a runner, After several hours your body talks over. Second wind is first. Chemical is second. I have looked down many times and seen urine running down my legs. I have also experienced runners diarrea. When I retired two years ago, I had lost it in my jersey eight times in a row. The last time I even had an enima prior to the race but still pooped mid race.
My mom supported me through this all. Mom was great.
My ex got off on videos of my races. It is common for racers to loose it during a race. I was a believer in the closed towel defense. In school I had a friend, "Mary", who messed her underwear daily. I didn't but then again I did. Mary would do it on purpose and I would do it out of control.
Mary understood. She cried with me when I was exposed on tv. I gave up racing.
