I've always had a problem being told what to do. Especially when I was running my own corporation that I built from the ground up, then someone thinks they need to come along and tell me about hard work and ambition, and what I should do at what time of day.
That's how that happened. It was a signal of the utmost disrespect. It meant that the basis for the relationship had gone. Sorry, but you asked.
