What we want, and what we have, are at least plausible stories, even if they are not true. Sure, we dont know which, and, as you say, we dont know whether it is a man or woman. Many are just stores, and sometimes the writer says so.
Does it really matter? Fabrication or not, man or woman, this is a place where we can come and share; be the person we might not be able to be 'out there'; perhaps for some, become the person that they wanted to be for a very long time. Yes, I know, that also means that a man can be a woman, and a woman can be a man (which incidently does happen). I dont care.
Yeah, I know that some (but not all) of you guys can't stand the idea of liking to hear stories from other guys. But it just seems to me that it might be significant if we were all in one big room (a hotel somewhere?), roaming and chatting with one another. I expect most of the guys would be huddled around and listening to the women, and I fully expect some would be groping - just from the conversation. That is why, even though I think I might like to be there, I probably would not be. It is just so unfair. But Im off my subject.
This forum is like a big room, except that everyone is able to hear all the conversation rather than just a small part of it (well, I suppose it would be better if more were posting). If there is talk you dont care for, you can ignore it and move on to another. If it is something you like to hear, or wanna hear, you might even respond and say so.
And here I like to be.
