If you don't already have the fetish, you might be building toward having it. But, that's not really the issue.
You clearly have a problem with shyness and possess public anxiety issues. I wouldn't be surprised if you were also not well potty trained or kept in diapers past the age of, say, 4 years old.
Why anyone is focusing on whether it's a fetish or not, and how to hide if it is, is ridiculous. You're self confidence, especially in public, should be dealt with, first and foremost.
You better be careful these people aren't messing with your head. You'll end up in even worse shape emotionally.
