They are the names of the women who inspired my appreciation of panty-pooping and adult diaper fetishes. Jane & Carole both had bowel problems, and needed thick cloth diapers to cope with them. (This was in 1972, before the introduction of decent adult disposable diapers, and also before doctors really began understanding digestive disorders such as IBS.) My 13-year-old mind was blown away by the concept of grown women wearing (and messing in) such obvious diapers. I use the handle "JaneCarole Fan" as a tribute to them. What's incredible is the fact that Jane is still alive, and I live less than two miles from her! She's a very old woman now, though.
If you want an idea of how bulky Jane's diaper seemed to be under her dress, click on the link to Shiny Girl's pic below. I kid you not...it apparently had to be absorbent enough to hold a considerable amount of poop without leaking or smelling.
