If you leave, then those that would ridicule you, for whatever the reason, win. I wouldn't let that happen.
1. Ignore the posts that make you mad - you did apologize, and I think even Arthur accepted it (if I read things right).
2. Think about it this way: If all of us girls were put off by something negative that someone said, regardless of the intent, then we would not be able to show these guys how to do it. What is even worse, is that if we can't grow our numbers, by telling the tales of the things we do, and like to do, then there would be no one to sympathize with when things are amiss. They like the stories, and we like writing them. For my part, I like reading theirs too.
if you can, stick around. I think you will find the majority are supportive, and only a few are brash. Remember, that often support is tacit; enemies are usually not. Post more of the things you like to do. I like them.
