You see? That's part of the humor of it in that when I first heard of the Orwell novel 1984 I didn't care too much for it to the point of becomming anti-communist based on my knowledge of the novel alone, but Van Halen really rocked out some heavy metal tunes that he put out his 1984 LP shortly after I jammed with him & David Lee Roth in Ocean Beach while they were in town for a rock show at the local Sports Arena. David Lee Roth said, you really ought to join the band, man, you fucking bogart (as we were smoking a joint). Then Eddie VAn Halen snuck up behind me and stated, what do you want to do, play guitar? And I assumed that he was asking David, but maybe he meant me, the humor of which was that I can still sing better than David which says alot of my talents and abilities because David Lee Roth is one bad ass kick ass lead singer!
