I know what you mean, and agree.
Having said that, I have flooded my jeans on the bus, and once on the train: Both times leaving a wet seat behind me.
I don't really want to soak the seat under me when I fly. But on another posting somebody writes that if you simply sit on one of the in-flight blankets they pass out, then the blanket soaks everything up.
I was thinking of trying the same trick, maybe with a plastic bag under the blanket - that way the next person to sit in the seat will be dry, and never know what happened...
