Well, as pointed out below by a couple of people, this begs the question who "us" are. There is the question of broad interest/narrow interest for a start and whether that is even constant for one person.

Over the years the focus of my own interest has shifted considerably, as well as shifting in smaller ways from month to month or week to week. I have never had, at any one time a "broad interest". In my younger days I was much more turned on by mere desperation than I am now. For a long while I needed the fantasy of an "accident" to turn me on, maybe because I had not quite come to terms with the idea of deliberate wetting for sexual pleasure. Nowadays I am much more turned on by deliberate orgasmic wetting and often use wetting or just peeing as a deliberate repeatable substitute orgasm.

So am I the same "us" as a diaper fan? Is someone into D/S golden showers into the same game as the person who is excites by accidental bedwetting? I'm not so sure. What I am trying to get at is - is it the peeing/wetting that is the key to understanding the fantasy or is it the context in which it is placed?

My own answer to this is that I think it is a bit of both. Over the last two years I have had a series of long conversations with a friend who professes absolutely no interest in watersports in that they do not turn him on. He does have a strong interest in Fem Dom / Male Sub sex and has got me thinking about the dom/sub aspects of my own fantasies. What I have found fascinating is that, along with a tendency I have to gender swap in my fantasies, at times I adopt all four positions in the Male/female - dom/sub range. This is all going on, yet still the whole thing is predicated on wetting, rarely on peeing without wetting. So the wetting is obviously crucial - but why?

I seem to have got away from "how many of us?" in trying to explore who "us" are. Nevertheless, I would guess there are a fair number of us. As a guesss and a very broad generalisation I would say that men seem to be attracted to women wetting whereas women seem to be attracted to wetting themselves. There are many many exceptions to this but I do notice one thing. I have frequently heard women refer to "nearly wetting myself" or even mentioning times when they did wet themselves - just in casual conversation. I have never heard a man do the same. Is this significant?

Over to you.
