I was there! Party in the Park, July 5th 1998. Couldn't get near the front because of the crush of teenage girls (should I have arrived earlier and squeezed in amongst them?). The queues for the portaloos were short and orderly (no alcohol at this event) so nothing was happening there.
Must be really difficult to see girls wet themselves when they're packed so tightly together (without laying down on the grass amongst them, which just might have attracted someone's attention!).
