I think this is a really well told story WT. Poor Clarisse! Rome is full of fountains and running water!
I went there with the school when I was 15. We had had a pizza with lots of pepsi in the evening and we were all sitting on the Spanish Steps. Some of the girls were being chatted up by the locals. I was wearing a miniskirt on a hot evening in May. I was desperate for the loo. I had no idea where to find one. So I just sat there and did a little wee through my panties on the Spanish Steps under the cover of darkness. No one saw the little puddle that collected around my feet!
