Dandelion leaves do work fine. I use them on and off. Wetfan is right, unless you know the location is pesticide free (eg your own garden) you're probably better buying them from a wholefood shop. they,re not expensive - about 50p for an ounce in the UK. Don't overdo it though. It's true that dandelion does replace some of the potassium that diuretics tend to leach out of the bloodstream but herbs can be just as powerful as proprietary drugs. Don't use pharmaceutical drugs for play if you value your health. They have value as medicine but aren't to be trifled with.
