I recall a woman at this year's Notting hill Carnival, squatting behind a van with a girlfriend standing guard next to her. She was down for almost 2 minutes without producing a single drop. Then she stood up, chatted to her friend awhile & squatted down again for a minute before giving up altogether.
I should point out that I could only see what was going on by sitting on the opposite side of the road from the van & looking under the tailgate. Like the one that you observed the woman in question had no idea she could be seen (at least by me) so I presume her bladder-shyness was a result of her not considering it proper to pee in the street.
