Actually, the ladies room in the concourse at Rockefeller Plaza is the place to be this season just after sunset on the weekends. The place is utterly jammed with people looking at the tree and lights and skating rink and no loos anywhere except down there. I walked by and found about twenty women lined up but did not have the nerve to stand and stare. No obvious depseration but there must be some.
The Met is relatively female friendly, especially since they gave the girls their very own loo down in the lower level by all the portraits.
Long lines at the Met balcony too, especially after a long 90 minute act (or two hour first act of Wagner's Gotterdammerung).
