I have never been in a tanning bed, but don't they have some way of protecting the electric equipment from water and liquids?? While most people wouldn't pee in a tanning bed (naughty, naughty, desp-wet-girl!! :] ), I would imagine that a lot of people would sweat. Since sweat contains a lot of salt, it is a very electric conducting fluid. So isn't there something that keeps the electric stuff dry?? If not, they need to put a clear plastic cover on the bed that holds the person up (and off the electricity)
What about the tanning beds at Hollywood Tans?? They aren't really beds, but are upright cubicles that one could sit in. Maybe there is a place one could leave a puddle there?? :)
