Terrier, I agree with you that it may no longer such a taboo subject. But I'm reticent to agree that it is starting to be accepted as a natural expression of sensuality. Now, Lloyd, before you get bent out of shape, let me explain.
I agree with Terrier that surveys here are NOT the answer because "they would only be addressed by people who have already shown such an interest." What's more I also agree that a log or discussion of entertainment media references are a good place to start our investigation. However it don't see this as helpful in getting a feel for the sensuality we all feel surrounding our beloved fetish since, it seems to me, many of the media (and even anecdotal) references may carry no sexual implications whatsoever. Being who WE are, we may tend to "create" a sexual where none was invoked. (Certainly I do this all the time.)
Having said that, I'm all for it.
