dejay, I guess posters on this board tend to believe a lot of way-out things: 1) because what we do is fairly way-out anyway & 2) because we'd like to believe that there are far more pissy-things going on out there than is actually the case.
If I read a story that seems to stretch credulity beyond the limit I will either ignore it or join in the (assumed) spirit of it by posting a tongue-in-cheek reply. Most poster here seem to do likewise. Questioning the author's integrity or (in some cases) gender would lead to the risk of offending genuine posters & deterring them from posting again.
