It's up to the lady concerned. You can't make her reply if she chooses not to. It is quite likely that a female poster who gives an e-mail address will be deluged by mail from kinky guys so detailed replies would be out of the question. I'd rather have no response than someone telling me to "Piss off"!
As I said somewhere down below many women feel more at ease in chatrooms where they can have private & ongoing discussions without giving away their e-mail address. Yes it's harder to express yourself in quick & short typed responses, but it can be great fun to see the conversation veer off in unexpected directions. You can also get much more of a feel for the personality of the lady you're communicating with, which is a definite bonus.
I doubt that many gay guys would bother posing as females on personal ads pages. There are plenty of gay contact sites around to cater for their needs.
Don't despair, but don't hold high expectations either!
