Well, gee, I AM female and dangerously close to 40. Although I am short on time now, here is a quick count:
1) Nursery school (we didn't call it pre-school in those days), I remember one girl only. I am sure were more, but only one sticks in my mind.
2) 1st grade, classmate on school bus
3) 2nd grade, 3 seperate occasions involving a different girl each time.
4) 4th grade, involving one of the same girls as in 3nd grade.
5) 6th grade, during a school pagent
6) 7th grade (summer after actually), involving a friend in a store, so this one probably doesn't count.
7) 10th grade, a friend in a car coming home from school.
I also remember 2 boys in first grade, one who had just moved from overseas and was frightened. The other was a mentally/emotionally impaired boy who wet himself every week or so.
There was a boy in 2nd grade, too, who was so frightened by the teacher that he pissed his pants during a read aloud session.
